Should the government raise the retirement age for Social Security?

I think the should not raise the retirement age for Social Security because when people retire they are around the age to receive social security. I don’t see a reason why they would raise the age for social security to me that would be useless and would also make retired people wait longer to be able to receive social security. The best way to make social security to work would be to have everyone pay into social security and for the government to keep their hands off of the social security funds. Also to make the government give back all the Social Security funds that have already borrowed, stolen, or misappropriated, for other programs besides Social Security Benefits. If the Social Security funds had been used, only as intended, the program wouldn’t be in jeopardy of running out of funds today. The other main, much needed, boost would be to make EVERYONE pay into Social Security. Do away with Government Employee Retirement programs, other than Social Security. Everyone should pay into, and benefit from the program. The social security should’ve never been misused in the first place if they never misused the social security money there wouldn’t be an issue.
